Newsletters

In recent years the Council has produced a Newsletter which is circulated to all houses in the community and which gives a roundup of the year’s activities. The Newsletter has been delivered by 360 (Llwchwr) Squadron Air Training Corps whose assistance is greatly valued by the Council.

LLWCHWR TOWN  COUNCIL MEMORIAL BOARD November 2011 The Llwchwr Town Council in conjunction with the Royal British Legion Gorseinon and Loughor Branch have had a Memorial Board made and placed in the Welfare Hall in Loughor. The Board lists the names of those individuals from the Llwchwr Area killed during the First and Second World Wars and also Other Conflicts. There are currently no names in relation to Other Conflicts and it is hoped that this will remain so. If there is anyone who has lost a relative, or knows of anyone who has lost a relative from the Llwchwr Area in any conflict and that person’s name does not appear on the Memorial Board then they should contact the Clerk to the Council or the local branch of the Royal British Legion so that the name can be recorded.
