Mayor's Activities 2015/16
Presenting pens/awards to local primary schools
At the end of each school year the older pupils move on to secondary school which is a big step for them to take. In recognition of this maturity the Mayor visits each school and personally presents each pupil who will be moving to secondary education with a council pen to show how valued the children are in the community.

Message from the Town Mayor
It has been a privilege to serve as Mayor of Llwchwr since my election last May and that my fellow Councillors have given me this honour.
It has been a very busy year, and it has been a pleasure to meet people and organisations throughout the Llwchwr area who contribute so much to our community life. I have met people from all walks of life and interests who work in different ways for the benefit of our area. We are truly fortunate that so many people are willing to give their time to sustain so many local organisations.
I am proud that Llwchwr Town Council exists to promote our local interests and that it has used every opportunity to add value to the quality of local life.
Finally, I would like to thank all of those who have helped during the year in organising our civic events and for people's generous support on each occasion. We have a great deal of which we can be proud in Llwchwr, and long may that continue.
